Our Current Project
TOGETHER, WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
When we work together, we can make a BIG impact! That’s why AZKids invites churches and families to join us in funding BIG projects. Every few months, we introduce a new project and share fun, engaging resources to help kids learn about the missionaries and initiatives they’re supporting. Learn about how you can get involved.
1. Look over the project & resources
Read about our missions project and explore related resources that will help you introduce it to kids and get them involved.
2. Include missions in your Sunday morning service
Set aside a time on Sunday mornings to teach kids about missions. This time doesn’t have to look the same every week! Here’s an example:
Week 1: Share photos and stories from the project.
Week 2: Invite kids to write prayers for missionaries and place them in a box to choose from and pray through during the week.
Week 3: Complete an activity page about the country involved and the needs there.
Week 4: Decorate buddy barrels as a reminder to give.
3. Challenge kids to give
As you teach kids about missions, challenge them to make a difference through giving—and make it fun! Consider ideas like a boys-vs-girls competition, sliming a leader when a goal is reached, or celebrating with an ice cream party once a giving amount is met.

Boys and Girls Missionary Challenge (BGMC) engages, teaches, and disciples our youngest generation in God’s mission to reach the lost! This is accomplished by creating a heart of compassion in kids for the world's and our missionaries' needs. Kids are challenged to pray for our missionaries, sacrificially give to missions, and reach the lost in their own area. Funds raised through BGMC go to meet critical needs around the world with a special emphasis on Kids Helping Kids. Additional project focuses include curriculum translation and development, kids’ outreaches, humanitarian aid, medical care, child welfare missions (foster care and orphanages), water initiatives, feeding programs, and anything else a missionary may need to spread the love of Jesus.

Absolutely! You’re free to choose any project that fits your kids ministry. These quarterly projects are simply provided to make it easier to access resources and introduce kids to the projects they’ll hear about at events. Find more projects here
