LEADER RESOURCES

Beyond big events, our heart is to personally connect with and empower kids pastors across the state. Through meetups, cohorts, events, and upcoming resources, our goal is to ensure no kids pastor does ministry alone. We’re here to support, equip, and cheer you on through every season of ministry.

ASOM Cohort

The Arizona School of Ministry (ASOM) exists to train, equip, and release men and women into effective ministry through accessible, practical, and Spirit-filled theological education. Whether you're pursuing credentialing with the Assemblies of God or simply growing in your calling, ASOM offers monthly classes, hands-on ministry training, and mentorship to help you lead with clarity, conviction, and confidence. Through the KidMin Cohort, you’ll build community with likeminded kids ministers while receiving practical training you can immediately apply in your ministry.

Cohorts provide an exciting opportunity to connect and grow alongside other KidMin leaders. Together, participants will dive into Resilient: Child Discipleship and the Fearless Future of the Church by Valerie Bell and Matt Markins, reading individually and gathering on Zoom every other Saturday to discuss the chapters.

Kidmin Meet Ups

We're thrilled to invite you to our KidMin meetups! We will be meeting at coffee shops around the valley for a few hours and we want you to come join! There is no agenda, we just want to sit over a cup of coffee and connect with each of you. This is a great opportunity to connect and build relationships with the kids pastors and churches in your area. While we will definitely talk about ministry, we also want to hear about YOU! Share your ideas on how you are engaging your kids, tell us about your families, ask questions, or share your favorite ways to find rest. We want to connect with you and equip you with a like-minded community as we minister to this next generation together.

In 2026, we’ll be centering our time on how to reach and support the special needs and foster families in your church and community. You’ll learn from experienced voices in the field and walk away feeling encouraged, equipped, and more confident as you care for every family God entrusts to you.
