Summer Internship

As a Summer Intern, you will have the unique opportunity to be a part of the AZAG Kids leadership team who make Kids Camps possible. You will have the privilege of building relationships and connecting with children's pastors, speakers, and campers from churches all over Arizona Throughout four kids camps. You can expect to be challenged as you grow in your spiritual leadership, communication skills, physical strength, and mental endurance. You can also look forward to being encouraged as you create lifelong friendships, spend time in worship, and invest in the next generation.

The AZAG KIDS Summer Internship is designed for teens and young adults, ages 15-22. A commitment from June 26-July 11 is required. Interns must submit an application, and pastoral reference.

  • The Summer Internship begins with intern orientation on Friday, June 26 as we prepare for our camp season. We will be having 4 Kids Camp this year, beginning on June 28 and ending July 11. You will be responsible for transportation to and from the campground. Interns will stay in the cabins on the campground for the entire duration of Kids Camps.

  • Camp Prep (Mandatory): Friday, June 26 - Saturday, June 27

    Camp 1: June 28 - July 1

    Camp 2: July 1 - 4

    Camp 3: July 5 - 8

    Camp 4: July 8 - 11

    The camp is located at Granite Hills Retreat & Conference Center

  • Help physically and spiritually prepare the campground for incoming campers.

    • Engage in daily leadership development & devos.

    • Be the first to welcome incoming churches to camp & take part in creating the culture.

    • Engage in services with hundreds of kids encountering God.

    • Serve in various leadership areas throughout the camp.

  • There is a $30 application fee. The remainder of the internship is FREE, which includes three meals a day, lodging, fun activities, and a t-shirt.

    $30 fee is payable on the application form (non-refundable)
